Default Build idea: Air of Release

Hiya all ,

I got a great idea for a 2man GvG monk team wich I would like to discuss.

We take 2 monks, 1 with air of enchantment and as many low-medium time spammable enchantments. Gaurdian, Vigorous spirit, Prot spirit, shield of absorption and more of those ( not RoF since it will end too fast. ) Then we take another monk with max. divine favor and release enchantments.

The air of enchantment monk starts spamming all the enchantments on the release monk. As soon as the release monk notices he has all the enchantments he uses release enchantments. With 5 enchantments this will result in an heal of almost 200 for all party members for just 5 energy! The air of enchantment monk might find energy problems but if this is the case then the release monk should have blood ritual or blood is power, the sacrifices wont be a problem as he is constantly getting bombed by protective enchantments. For the rest the release monk should probarly carry infuse health to counter spikes and plenty of hex and condition removal. If energy becomes a problem for this monk then the air of enchantment monk should carry blood ritual so they can support each other with energy, the release enchantments healing should counter the sacrifices.

So what do you think?

Useless. Why would you need a 200 point heal to everyone? You might get that every 10 secs or something but in that time you will find that the rest of your team is pushing up daisies The standard is 2 prot/heal hybrid monks and an E/Mo with ether prodigy who can spam heal party. Neat idea but not practical by any means d:

Well, Release Enchantments recharges in 5 seconds and costs 5 energy and 1 cast. An Air of Enchantment spammer can really spam those enchantments fast. In 5 seconds someone can have a lot of enchantments on them, so it's basically a Heal Party spammer on steroids, but it requires 2 monks and can't react to a situation.

It would probably work but I don't think I would use it anywhere. 2 monks with good builds that complement each other would be better than everyone gaining 145 health every 5 seconds.

haha, i thought of something similar too this a while ago, althought i think it involved an ele... somehow... :| (edit: i think it was a warder doing the spamming or something.)

anyhoo, while it's an interesting gimmick idea, the fact is that against anything but a pure degen build this backline would simply crumble and die.

Air of Enchant guy shouldn't have huge energy problems, not with air of enchant.

If this is for GVG it should be in the Gladiator Forum in the GvG builds section.
